Xavier Pellot

Xavier Ryan Pellot brought warmth and laughter to those around him. Born April 23, 1999, in Waterbury, Connecticut, Xavier attended Wilby High School and was known by family and friends for his ready wit and generous spirit. He most recently worked as a refuse collector with Gaudiosi Hauling, a job he held with steady dedication.

Family was central to Xavier’s life. He was cherished by his mother, Rosanne Pellot, his father Antonio L. Powell, and a wide circle of siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who recall his big smile and his willingness to help whenever he could. People who knew Xavier remember him as someone quick with a joke, always ready to lift the mood and offer support to those he loved.

Xavier’s presence in the community — at school, at work, and among family — left a lasting impression. Those who spent time with him remember not only his sense of humor but also his steady care for his family and his gentle, everyday acts of kindness. His unexpected passing on October 31, 2022, left family and friends shocked and deeply saddened. Funeral services were arranged by Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Waterbury, where relatives and friends gathered to celebrate his life and offer support to one another.

Xavier is survived by his parents, his sisters and brothers, his grandparents, and an extended family who will continue to honor his memory.
