Wesley Stevenson

Wesley George Stevenson, 31, passed away March 4, 2025. Born on October 7, 1993 at Millington Naval Base in Millington, Tennessee, Wesley grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where family and faith shaped his life. He graduated from Gautier High School in 2012 and went on to study respiratory therapy at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, pursuing a calling to help others and build a stable future.

Those who knew Wesley remember an outgoing, adventurous spirit and a ready smile. He enjoyed music and time spent with friends and family. In his twenties he made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, a faith he had practiced as a child when he read the Bible with his sister and attended church with his family. Wesley spoke often of wanting to be a husband and father one day, and he carried hopes and plans for a family-centered life.

Wesley is survived by his father, George R. Stevenson; his mother, Rose M. Stevenson of Biloxi, Mississippi; his sister, Monique N. Stevenson of Gautier, Mississippi; his grandmother, Dorothy D. Stevenson of Greenville, Mississippi; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him. Funeral services were arranged by Infinity Funeral Home in Biloxi, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and services at 11:00 a.m. on March 15, 2025.

Wesley’s family asked for expressions of sympathy through the funeral home and invited friends to remember his kindness, his love of music, and the warm laugh that marked his time with others. While his life was taken far too soon, those who loved him recall a young man filled with dreams, faith, and a deep love for his family.
