Roderick Wilson Jr.

Roderick Dewann Wilson Jr., known to family and friends by nicknames including Teuhnk, Poppa, RJ, Fresh and Baby Boy, was born July 14, 2003. A loving son of Roderick Wilson Sr. and Emily Pringle, Roderick grew up surrounded by the music of family life and the steady presence of faith. He graduated from Pentecostal Church of God Academy in Polk County in 2021 and was described by those closest to him as a devoted, God-fearing young man.

Roderick had many interests that revealed his generous, creative spirit. He enjoyed making music and aspired to share that talent more widely; friends remember his laughter, his jokes, and the way he could bring people together. He loved technology and video games, found calm and pleasure in fishing, and treasured family travel. Roderick also helped with the family’s businesses, where he was known as someone willing to lend a hand whenever needed.
