Michael was naturally ambitious and practical about his dreams: he held a motorcycle license, had been studying to earn a commercial driver’s license to pursue work as a truck driver, and was preparing to take the Chicago Police Department entrance exam. Family was central to Michael’s life. He is survived by his mother, Danelia, and his sisters, Jadira and Veronica, who remember him as humble and devoted.
