Michael Ameri

Michael E. Ameri (d. May 13, 2016) served New York City with dedication for more than two decades. A career member of the NYPD since the early 1990s, Inspector Ameri rose through the ranks to lead Brooklyn's 78th Precinct in Park Slope, where neighbors and local officials credited him with hands-on leadership for neighborhood safety and street improvements.
