Mary Lisa “Lisa” Kelley (September 26, 1963 – November 29, 2021) was a loving grandmother, devoted mother, and a passionate social worker whose care for others defined her life. A native of Claremont, New Hampshire, Lisa carried a lifelong love of music and theater from her Stevens High School years into a career that included teaching and school leadership before she found her calling in child protection work. She earned her undergraduate degree at Worcester State and a master’s from Plymouth State, and later joined the Vermont Department for Children and Families’ Morrisville office in 2015, where she specialized in investigations and assessments. Colleagues remember her as a fierce yet compassionate advocate who could build trust with families during some of their hardest moments.
