Remembering Malcolm
A life held close in memory
Malcolm Antoine Harris, beloved son and friend, was born February 21, 2000, and passed away in Jackson, Mississippi, on February 18, 2026. Those who knew him remember Malcolm for his kind nature, steady work ethic, and the easy warmth he offered to others. He carried a welcoming smile and a generous heart into the places he lived and worked, and he is remembered for the everyday ways he brightened the lives around him.
Malcolm worked as a barista and most recently was employed at the Chick‑fil‑A in Madison, where coworkers described him as joyful and kind. Outside of work he was connected to his church family at Greater Bethlehem Temple Church in Jackson, a community that mourns his loss and celebrates the ways he contributed to its life. Family members recall Malcolm’s dependability and the quiet ways he showed care for those he loved.
He was the cherished son of Marvin Harris and Darlene A. May and remained close to his extended family, who rallied in searching for him when he could not be reached. Malcolm would have celebrated his 26th birthday on February 21.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson.
