Remembering Linda

A life held close in memory

Linda C. (Hachey) Robinson, 55, cherished mother and longtime Andover resident, is remembered for the quiet warmth she brought to family and community. Born July 25, 1967, in Lynn and raised between the United States and Canada, Linda combined a gracious presence with a steady professional life — beginning as a model and later building a career in accounting and human resources after graduating from Merrimack College.

Above all else, Linda took joy in being a mother. Those who knew her describe a woman for whom family was central; she considered her son, Sebastian, to be her pride and joy. Linda and Sebastian were active in their community and school life in Andover, and friends recall her gentle nature, steady care, and the small everyday kindnesses that marked her relationships.

Linda is survived by her father, Joseph Hachey of Lynn; her brother Steven Hachey and sister-in-law Christine of Peabody; her nephew Steven Hachey; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who drew comfort from her generosity of spirit. A Funeral Mass celebrating Linda and Sebastian’s lives was held on February 18, 2023, at Saint John’s Preparatory School in Danvers. In keeping with the family’s wishes, donations in their memory were directed to the Sebastian and Linda Robinson Scholarship Fund at Saint John’s Preparatory School.

Those who remember Linda recall a person whose professional steadiness and gentle presence made life better for the people around her. Her family remembers her as loving, devoted, and quietly generous — qualities that remain in the hearts of those she loved. Her life, and the care she gave to her son and those close to her, endures as the measure of how deeply she mattered.
