Remembering Lenton

A life held close in memory

Lenton “Tre” Swint III (May 14, 1994 – January 25, 2016) was a young man whose presence lit up rooms and whose smile brought comfort to those around him. Known to family and friends as Tre, he was cherished as a devoted son to Lenton and Jeanette Swint Jr., and as someone who balanced quiet strength with an easy laugh.

Tre’s life was rooted in family and community. He is remembered by grandparents, a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a close network of friends who recall his warmth, charisma, and the small acts of kindness that became his quiet legacy. Those who knew him speak of a ready smile, good humor, and a generosity of spirit that made ordinary moments memorable.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life at First Baptist Church in Warner Robins on January 30, 2016. Tre was laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery, where loved ones found a place to honor the joy he brought into their lives and to hold one another in grief and remembrance.

Though his life was far too brief, Tre’s impact on his family and community endures. He is lovingly remembered and mourned by his parents, grandparents, a surrogate parent who was especially dear to him, and many relatives and friends who continue to carry his memory forward. In their words, Tre touched many hearts and will be forever held in their thoughts.

May the memory of Lenton “Tre” Swint III remain a source of comfort to those who loved him and a reminder of the brightness he shared with the world.
