Kevin Morgan

Kevin Eugene "Lil Kevin" Morgan Jr., 20, of McGehee, Arkansas, passed away December 14, 2024. Born January 24, 2004, in Conway, Arkansas, Kevin was a son who treasured family time and the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in the outdoors — an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the quiet companionship of a riverbank or woods with friends and loved ones. Kevin worked as a forklift operator, a job he took pride in, and he was known for bringing a friendly presence to his workplace and community.

Family was central to Kevin’s life. He married his wife, Lexi (Alexis), and enjoyed close relationships with his parents, Kevin Morgan Sr. and Carla Hannah Morgan, his grandmother Peggy Morgan, and his sisters. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, where his faith and fellowship mattered to him. Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Eugene Morgan, maternal grandfather Bill Hannah, and aunts Josette Hayes and Sheila Deaton.

Those who knew Kevin remember his easygoing nature, his readiness to share a laugh, and the comfort he drew from being surrounded by family and friends. He loved gatherings that brought people together, whether for a weekend fish or a home-cooked meal. Kevin’s presence was one of steady warmth — someone who made time for the people he cared about and who treasured the community around him.

Visitation was held at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee with funeral services following at their chapel. He was laid to rest at Tillar Cemetery. Kevin’s memory lives on in the hearts of his wife, parents, grandmother, sisters, extended family, and many friends whose lives he touched.
