Kashawn Glaze

Kashawn Smalls Glaze, 22, of Beaufort/Port Royal, South Carolina, passed away on October 12, 2025. Born July 22, 2003, Kashawn was a devoted son whose family meant the world to him. He is remembered by his mother, Shawanna Smalls of Port Royal, and his father, RaShad Brown-Glaze of Jacksonville, Florida, and by relatives and friends who loved his company and presence in the community.

Kashawn’s life was celebrated by family and community members at services held at Bethel Word And Worship Deliverance Temple in Beaufort. Friends and loved ones gathered for a public viewing on October 19, followed by a Celebration of Life on October 20, 2025, honoring the relationships and memories he left behind.

Those who knew Kashawn recall a young man rooted in family ties and local connections across Beaufort County. While his life was regrettably cut short, the care and affection shown by his family and the outpouring of support from the community reflected the place he held in the hearts of those who knew him.

Kashawn’s family asked for prayers and support as they mourned and made arrangements to celebrate his life. In remembering him, loved ones honor the everyday moments, laughter, and the ties of kinship that defined him. He will be remembered with love by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his presence.
