Jasmine Christanelli

Jasmine Marie Christanelli was a bright and loving presence whose quick laugh and thoughtful ways left an impression on everyone who knew her. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Jasmine delighted in small joys — dressing up, collecting Jordan sneakers, and sharing moments of humor and care with her family and friends. Those who loved her recall a devoted sister whose deep affection for her niece Neveah brought her great happiness.

Family was at the center of Jasmine’s life. She was known for giving wholeheartedly to those she cared about, and her close bonds with siblings and extended family were a source of strength and comfort to her and to them. Jasmine’s surviving family members include her sisters Merissa (and her fiancé Gino Trujillo), Angeline Aranda, brother Andre Koehler, grandparents Susie and Fred Christanelli, Manuel Martinez, Barbara Garcia, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who treasured her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angela Martinez and Steven Christanelli.

The family honored Jasmine with services at Garcia Mortuary in Albuquerque, offering a time for relatives and friends to gather, remember, and support one another. Those who attended and those who could not were invited to share memories and condolences on the mortuary guestbook and memorial pages maintained by the family.

Though her time was far too short, Jasmine’s warmth, sense of style, and the love she showed her family continue to live in the memories of those who were lucky to know her. Her family asks that remembrances celebrate the joy she brought to everyday moments and the tenderness she showed to those closest to her.
