Jacorey Sanders

Jacorey Sanders, born July 24, 1992, passed away in Providence, Rhode Island on June 17, 2018, at the age of 25. Beloved son of Easton Ogarro and the late Carla Sanders, Jacorey was surrounded in life by family and friends who treasured his place in their lives. He is remembered by a wide circle of relatives and companions who gathered to celebrate his life and the memories he leaves behind.

Family arranged visitation with relatives and friends on June 30, 2018, at the Church of God of Prophecy in Roxbury, Massachusetts, followed by a celebration of life service and interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Roslindale. Those services reflected the community’s wish to honor Jacorey with dignity and love.

While words cannot fully capture a life, those who knew Jacorey recall the small, meaningful ways he mattered to others — as family, as a friend, and as someone whose presence added to the everyday fabric of the people around him. He is remembered with affection by those who shared time, conversation, and companionship with him.

Jacorey’s family invited those who wished to offer condolences to share messages with them and to celebrate his memory by recalling the personal moments that made him who he was. He is mourned and remembered by loved ones who continue to hold his memory close.
