A proud graduate of Mississippi State University (summa cum laude) and an active member of Kappa Delta, Hollie carried academic distinction and campus involvement with humility. Earlier, she had been a standout student in Dyer County High School, serving as senior class president and earning recognition from her school community.Hollie was known to family and friends as someone who worked hard, led with grace, and cared deeply for those around her. Her achievements — from scholastic honors to her sorority friendships — reflected both diligence and a warm spirit that made her presence meaningful to peers and loved ones alike.Outside the classroom, Hollie participated in activities and communities that mattered to her family and hometown. She maintained close ties to Newbern First Baptist Church and was remembered by relatives and classmates who celebrated her leadership and smile.The loss of Hollie on April 9, 2017 left a profound ache for family, friends, and all who knew her.
