Ethan Allen

Ethan Charles Allen was born March 8, 1994, in Marrero, Louisiana, to Delona and Charles Allen. From his earliest days he was part of a close family and community rooted in faith; he was baptized and grew in New Home Full Gospel Ministries. Ethan attended Marrero Middle School and John Ehret High School, and later studied music through Job Corps — a path that reflected his deep interest in performance and creative expression.

Ethan’s passion for the arts led him to the stage and to music. In 2012 he made his acting debut in the play No More Pain, and he pursued music under the name Charles Challenger with Kush Kings Entertainment, writing and performing material that drew on his own life experiences. Those who knew him remember a young man determined to pursue his talents and share his voice.

Loved by family and friends, Ethan is remembered in the company of those who raised and supported him. He was preceded in death by relatives and is survived by members of his family who mourn his loss and celebrate the moments of joy he brought into their lives. His life — though far too short — reflected a devotion to creative pursuits, a grounding in faith, and the bonds of family and community.
