Remembering Daniel

A life held close in memory

Daniel Andrew Suarez, born October 23, 1986, in Corpus Christi, Texas, was a devoted father, son, brother, and grandfather whose life centered on family and community. Known to those closest to him as a caring and steady presence, Daniel took great pride in his role as a father to four daughters—Marisela, Isabella, Vaida, and Priscilla—and as a grandfather to his cherished granddaughter, Luna.

A lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Daniel remained close to his parents and siblings. He was the son of Espiridion Suarez and the late Irma Carvajal Suarez, and is remembered by his father Espiridion Suarez Jr., sisters Michelle (Joe) Cabrera and Valerie Suarez, and his brother Espiridion Suarez III. Family gatherings and the simple comforts of home were central to his days, and those who knew him recall his quiet loyalty to relatives and the pride he took in watching his family grow.

Daniel’s life was anchored in the rhythms of his neighborhood and the ties he maintained with extended family and friends. He is survived by nephews and nieces who remember him as a loving uncle and by friends who recall his willingness to help when needed. Those personal connections—small acts of generosity, an encouraging word, and the steady care he showed his daughters—are the enduring parts of his legacy.

His family honored his memory with the sentiment: “When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.” Daniel will be treasured by all who loved him for his devotion to family and the warm, dependable presence he brought to their lives. Services were arranged through Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery in Corpus Christi. Friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate his life and to hold his family in their thoughts during this difficult time.
