Remembering Christopher

A life held close in memory

Christopher Leon Hardy, remembered by his family as a loving son and brother, passed away on May 7, 2006. He was the beloved son of Christopher Hardy Sr. and Delores Hardy and a devoted grandson to Mable London, Christine Robinson and William Robinson.

Chris is survived by five sisters — Chantel, Sarah, Monica, Lynette and Paula — and a step-sister, Andrea Dasher. He is also remembered by nieces Sarayah Hardy, Imani Clark and Destiny Disher, and his nephew Sherod Hardy, along with his step-mother, Renee Disher Hardy, and brother-in-law Omar Clark. His family and many friends recall him with affection and grief.

Family and friends gathered to honor his life with visitations on May 12 and a funeral service on May 13 at Christ Temple of Joy in Capital Heights, Maryland. He was laid to rest at Harmony Memorial Park.

Though public records about the circumstances of his death are limited, what endures in the hearts of those who knew him are the bonds he shared with family and the warmth of personal memories offered by relatives and friends. His family’s messages on his memorial page reflect deep sorrow and the lasting place he holds in their lives.

Christopher’s life is commemorated by those who loved him most — parents, siblings, extended family and community — who continue to honor his memory with stories, remembrances and quiet devotion.
