Christian Storey

Christian Matthew Storey, 33, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on August 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A son, husband and father, Christian was known for a hardworking spirit, a kind heart and a ready smile that brightened gatherings with friends and family.

Born January 21, 1992, Christian found joy in simple, wholehearted living. He worked with Ramey’s and took pride in his work. Outside of his job he loved the water—kayaking along the Okatoma was a favorite pastime—and he treasured time at the river and the family cabin. Music was an important part of his life; many remember him for jamming with friends and sharing songs that drew people close.

Christian’s greatest delight was his family. He and his wife, Hannah, shared five years of marriage and the treasured role of parenting their son, Tristen. He was also devoted to his little miniature schnauzer, Lola. Christian’s family included his father, Brian Storey; Helen Henson; his parents-in-law Dawn and Stacy Baldwin; and a large circle of siblings, grandparents, nieces, nephews and extended relatives who carry forward his memory.

Those who knew Christian recall an adventurous spirit and a gentle devotion to the people he loved. He enjoyed small rituals—facials shared with his wife he playfully nicknamed “panda cubbin”—that reflected a tenderness beneath his outdoorsman’s energy. He will be remembered for his warmth, his music, and the care he gave to family and friends.

A visitation and funeral service were arranged by Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested planting a tree or other remembrances that honor his love of the outdoors. Christian’s presence will be deeply missed by those who loved him, and his memory will live on in the stories and moments he created with family and friends.
