Chad Daniel Wooten

Chad Daniel Wooten (April 30, 1993 – March 12, 2025) is lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his commitment to service and the quiet loyalty he showed to those closest to him. Born April 30, 1993, Chad grew up surrounded by family and formed deep, lasting bonds that mattered most to him throughout his life.

Chad fulfilled a longtime dream when he joined the Missouri National Guard in 2010. During his service he worked with the 548th Transport Division as a wheeled vehicle mechanic and vehicle recovery specialist. Those who served alongside him remember a dependable teammate who took his responsibilities seriously and cared for the people in his unit. He served honorably until his discharge in 2023.

Family was at the center of Chad’s life. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Wooten Allen; his father, Vance Wooten (Rebecca); and his brothers Troy (Jennifer), Sean (Kayla), and Trevor. He was a proud uncle to Troy’s three children and is also remembered by step-siblings Rachel and Sam, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who loved him.

Those who knew Chad describe him as steady and principled, someone who found meaning in service and in the everyday ties that bind a family. His presence in the lives of those around him — as son, brother, uncle and friend — left a quiet but lasting mark.
