Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alberto Alcaraz was a kind and outgoing young man who brought warmth and laughter to those around him. He loved spending time with family and friends, finding joy in simple pleasures — parking at a high spot to watch the city lights or a sunset, sharing a meal, and making others laugh. Carlos was known for an easy, infectious smile and a generous heart that reached out to lift people’s spirits.

He had a gentle devotion to the little things that mattered most: tending to his two dogs, Coco and Bonnie, offering encouragement to friends, and holding hope for better days while continually trying to do better for himself and the people he loved. Even on difficult days, Carlos found reasons to pray and to keep his focus on kindness and growth.

Family and friends remember him as someone who never wanted to see others sad and who used humor and warmth to brighten the moments he shared. His presence brought comfort and light to ordinary gatherings, and his love for those closest to him was evident in the care he showed every day.

Services honoring Carlos’s life were arranged through Martinez Funeral Chapels in Tucson, with a visitation and rosary on July 9, 2024, followed by a Mass at Santa Cruz Catholic Church on July 10, 2024. Those who knew him recall a precious presence whose laughter and compassion remain vivid in memory.

Carlos’s life, though far too short, mattered deeply to many. He will be remembered for his big heart, his willingness to lift others, and the small, sincere joys he shared — sunsets, laughter, and the steady companionship of Coco and Bonnie.
