Brian O Wright

Brian Wright, 34, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on July 9, 2015. Born and raised in Greenville, Brian was a beloved son, father and brother whose family meant everything to him. He is survived by his parents, Rickey O. Gordon and Cathy Wright; his son, Braylyn B. Wright; a sister, Katelyn Wright; a brother, Ryan O. Wright; and a wide circle of relatives and friends who cherished his company.

Friends and family remember Brian for his warmth at family gatherings and the quiet way he cared for those nearest to him. He took pride in being present for the important moments in his son’s life, and those who knew him recall his laughter and the easygoing presence he brought to everyday times together.

Brian’s life was rooted in Greenville, where he lived among people who loved him. In the days after his passing, relatives and the community gathered to honor his memory and to offer comfort to Braylyn and the family. Services were arranged by Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, reflecting the family’s desire to surround his loved ones with support and remembrance.
