Obituary

A formal remembrance

Beverly L. Gongoll of Waconia, Minnesota, was a devoted mother and grandmother who brought quiet steadiness and care to family life. She is remembered by her sons, Greg and Patrick Gongoll, their spouses, and her four grandchildren, who were a central joy in her life. Beverly and her husband, Kenneth, were longtime members of their local community and worshipped at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer.

Family was the heart of Beverly's days. Those who knew her recall a dependable presence at family gatherings, a willingness to help others, and a gentle manner that put people at ease. Her life reflected a commitment to those closest to her and to the routines of small-town living that shaped her sense of belonging.

A memorial service celebrating Beverly’s life was held at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer, with visitation at Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia. Friends and relatives gathered to honor her memory, share stories, and support one another in grief. She is survived by her sons Greg (Marcy) and Patrick (Heidi) Gongoll and by her grandchildren, who carry forward her love and the everyday care she showed them.

Though the loss was sudden, the hold Beverly had on family and community endures through memories of her kindness, the comfort she offered others, and the ordinary, important ways she cared for those she loved. Her family asks that remembrances be kept in the spirit of gratitude for the life she led and the quiet ways she made it meaningful.
