Amanda Feldstein

Amanda I. “Mandy” Feldstein, age 39, of Ligonier, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2018. Born April 11, 1978, in San Gabriel, California, Mandy was a daughter who treasured family and the simple pleasures that made ordinary days warm and memorable. She graduated from Guthrie High School in Guthrie, Oklahoma, in 1996 and later became a valued employee at UPI in Cromwell, where she took pride in her work and the connections she made.

Mandy had a playful spirit and a sharp sense of humor; she loved music — especially 1980s and techno — and enjoyed taking walks, reading about astrology, and treating herself to Starbucks. Friends and family remember her fondness for stylish accessories and the way she lit up a room with laughter. Small details, like choosing to quit smoking in favor of vaping so she could better enjoy life’s tastes, capture Mandy’s lively curiosity and determination to savor the moment.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda Todd of Kimmell; siblings Christina (Scott) Fortier of Naugatuck, Connecticut; Morrie Feldstein of Ligonier; Marissa Gerard of Syracuse; and Derrick Earle of Choctaw, Oklahoma; as well as cherished extended family including her grandmother, nieces, nephews, and a great-niece. Her family celebrated her life with a service on March 17, 2018, at Apostolic Faith Church in Ligonier. Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery.

Those who knew Mandy remember a woman who valued laughter, music, and family gatherings — someone who brought personality and warmth into everyday moments. Memorial contributions were suggested to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

Mandy’s presence in the lives of those who loved her endures in the memories she made, the smiles she inspired, and the small pleasures she enjoyed so fully.
