Amanda Blackburn

Amanda Grace (Byars) Blackburn was born July 31, 1987, and spent her life rooted in faith and family. Raised in Michigan and later in Indiana, Amanda completed her secondary education at Elkhart Christian Academy and earned an associate degree from Pensacola Christian College. She married Davey Blackburn on August 1, 2008, and together they built a life focused on church and community work. The couple welcomed their son, Weston James Blackburn, in 2014.

Amanda and Davey were active in church planting and ministry in Indianapolis. In the years before her death she and her husband helped found Resonate Church, committed to serving their neighbors and sharing their Christian faith.
