A formal remembrance

Alvin Edwin “Avenue” Brewer (June 12, 1977 – January 26, 2020) was a devoted son, a small-business owner, and a steady presence in his community. Born and raised in Union County, Alvin attended the public schools of the area and grew into a man who valued hard work and family above all.

Alvin was the owner of All-In-Line Trucking Company, a role that reflected his dedication to reliable service and the practical skills he brought to daily life. Family was central to Alvin’s world; he is remembered by those close to him for his quiet spirit, his loyalty, and the care he showed to friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, Flora O. Brewer, and other loving family members.

Those who knew Alvin recall his dependable nature and the steady way he met life’s challenges. He is remembered not just for his work but for the simple, meaningful ways he supported the people around him. His life was celebrated at services held at Piney Grove East Missionary Baptist Church in Marshville, and he was laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe.

Alvin’s passing on January 26, 2020, at Atrium Health/Union was met with deep sorrow by family and friends. Though his time was cut short, the warmth of his character and the steadiness of his presence continue to be cherished by those who loved him. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
