Adam Williams

Adam Boone Williams, born June 11, 2002 in Mesa, Arizona, brought energy and curiosity to everything he pursued. A 2020 graduate of Gilbert High School, Adam earned recognition as an accomplished swimmer and enjoyed the camaraderie of team sports. Friends and teammates remember him for his enthusiasm at the pool and the way he would jump into a pick-up basketball game at a moment’s notice.

Adam had a hands-on spirit: he liked working on cars, building with Legos, hiking, and customizing sneakers. In his spare time he took pleasure in music, recently discovering a love for playing acoustic guitar. Those who knew him recall his steady laugh, a willingness to try new things, and a thoughtful presence among family and friends.

He had plans to continue his studies at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and those hopes reflected his quiet determination to keep learning and growing. Adam was the son of Lisa Ulness and Jeffrey Williams, and he is remembered by his family and a wide circle of friends and relatives who cherished his gentle, curious nature.

Adam died on December 19, 2021. While his family and community continue to grieve the loss of a young life with so much potential, they also remember the bright moments he shared: the trophies from swim meets, the sneaker designs he tinkered with, the songs he practiced on his guitar, and afternoons spent with friends. His memory lives on in those small, everyday things that showed what he loved and who he was.
